Exploring sustainable practices at Bertch

Limited outsourcing, combined with backhauling our own materials, is one of many ways we seek to reduce our impact on the environment. Eco-friendly finishing technology minimizes emissions and efficiently utilizes materials. We even use our own sawdust (for over 30 years) to produce both heat and electricity at our facilities.

Tree Planting Efforts

Planning For Future Forests

Our culture is hands on. Bertch associates have planted thousands of trees since 1977 and will continue to plant more. Trees are the most powerful concentrators of carbon on Earth.

Bertch's standard of excellence

Bertch has been crafting beautiful cabinetry since 1977. That legacy and tradition of excellence doesn’t happen by accident. Hard work, pride, and passion are all evident in each cabinet we craft, each furniture joint and each hand finished door and drawer. Bertch takes great pride in producing high-quality cabinetry, crafted Iowa, the heart of the Midwest.

From solid wood construction to durable finishes and precise joinery, every detail reflects our dedication to craftsmanship. Our cabinets are manufactured in the USA using globally-sourced premium materials and time-honored techniques, ensuring long-lasting performance and timeless style for every home.
